2026 REFERENCE SIRES

NEW AI SIRE
S48 was the $190,000 high selling bull at Knowla Livestock’s 2022 sale. Purchased by Spyrs Angus and Cottage Creek Angus. He is long-bodied, free-moving with a tremendous carcass outlook and docile with the backing of a high preforming maternal line. He is new genetics to the Inglebrae herd, his calves have been thick and long from the start and his daughters are feminine, showing the typical softness we like through our females. We used him lightly through AI the first year and will present 6 sons that will be a feature in 2026. And look out for 2027 with 20 sons!!!!

NEW AI SIRE
Razor was the top priced New Zealand Angus bull for 2023 at $98,000. And at this stage you won’t get them anywhere else in Australia. Moderate, long body, thick-made a very free athletic mover and structurally correct throughout, with high calving ease and a very low birth, moderate through the growths that is typical of the New Zealand cattle, and high positive fats. I purposely fold these New Zealand bulls back through our herd when they come along keeping their fats up and feet straight. There will be a handful of sons in 2026 and 2027, that will be great options for heifer matings with extra carcass.

NEW AI SIRE
S31 was our top priced selling bull in 2023, in which I retained semen for our own in-herd use. I used him heavily, as S31 fitted the mold I would love to fit every bull into. Perfect structure and his image says it all from muscle to tail just how I like them. Thick-made with a soft but heavy muscle patten, square out through the hip-set and deep down through the flank. And the backing of his dam, P102, with every daughter retained and the only other son selling last year for $14,000. There will be at least 14 sons of S31 in 2026 and a handful in 2027.
3RD YEAR WALKING SIRE
Purchased in 2021, and now as a six-year-old, his mature presence is phenomenal, long with a very heavy visual carcass, and a perfect temperament. R74 has progeny now in seven herds, his sons continue to sell well and present with calving ease, lower birth with good growth carcass and marbling 6 to present. We are putting his genetics right throughout our own commercial herd.

2ND YEAR WALKING SIRE
Retained sire with extra thickness, visual born and volume with great temperament and balanced dataset right across the sheet with marbling jumping out to 4.7. Rambo sired the top price bull last year in 2025 at $27,000 and all other sons selling above the sale average. 7 sons this year.

2ND YEAR AI SIRE
Remedy sold in our 2022 sale to a loyal, long standing commercial client for the second top price of the sale. Once again, I wanted to fold his dam’s performance back through our herd and yet another perfect Matauri Reality daughter. R16’s docility is perfect, always fat, with a great visual carcass outlook and length of body. His 9 sons will present data that is well balanced for calving ease, low to moderate birth, good growth, scrotal, carcass, positive fats and extra marbling. Great heifer joining options.
2ND YEAR WALKING SIRE
Inglebrae Farms Showman S52; A retained sire for heifer joining’s with top 1% calving easy, top 5% low birth, moderate growths with positive fats. My love for these Matauri Reality cows that are performing so well is definitely showing here again. With Showman being a lovely blend of Reality x Chisum, I can’t help but fold these cows’ genetics back through our system. Showman is moderate, thick made and long with 2 sons presented, both great heifer joining options.
