Millah Murrah Kruse Time N177; was purchased back in 2018 at 16 months of age, he was the second highest top priced bull in Australia for 2018. He is a moderate framed bull, long bodied and has a lovely muscle pattern with a soft skin type and impeccable structure. This will be the fifth offering of N177 sons with 3 real stand outs. To celebrate the carcass, thickness, perfect females and structural improvements he has left in our herd, we have included a direct son of N177’s father, Millah Murrah Kruse Time K400 (below) and a few grand sons of our dearly admired N177. Last chance to grab a true shape changer from a bull that visually reeks of Angus modesty and efficiency with early growth and carcass but nothing extreme.
Inglebrae Farms Real Time R56; Homebred retained for stud duties. Son of our Kruse Time N177 with 3 sons on offer all with positive calving ease, below average birth, moderate growth and the important maternal data for milk, big scrotal and positive fats giving the extra doing ability and softness. R56’s dam is right where I like the Angus cow, she is a Matauri Reality daughter with good frame stretch and depth of body, neat uddered and soft fleshing with plenty of carcass to inject into her progeny. The type we like to fold back through the herd at Inglebrae.
Murdeduke Quarterback Q011; (Very heavily used throughout Australia) he presents tall, very long with a good free moving gait, soft fleshing that carrys through to his daughters that are growing out nicely here at Inglebrae with a nice visual appraisal being clean fronted with good extension and a bit more frame. His first sons peaked at $18,000 last year. This year 5 sons (all reared by first calving two-year-old heifers) on offer, all with plenty of growth, carcass and extra marbling if you liked them last year, you will love them this year.
Banquet Quarterpounder Q252; he was Banquet Angus’s 2021 sale topper. Thick made with extra bone and volume you’d expect from the Banquet cattle. Data set that’s versatile sitting down the middle of the page. His five sons set the sale alight last year selling to $28,000 from producers chasing their visual extra everything. This year 6 sons present that will put more real weight on the scales and more than their paperwork suggest, I will leave it up to you to sum them up.
Millah Murrah Rector R74; second offering, purchased in 2021 as a walking sire. His use continues to grow as we released a small amount of semen privately and he has progeny registered in six herds now. R74 screams docility, length of body, thickness without losing the all-important soft skin type we like at Inglebrae. His sons are working extremely well over the old Hallmark L58 bloodline through our commercial herd in which R74 sons are now being used and we AI’d all commercial heifers directly to him. 8 sons on offer this year and all with just a little bit more punch.
Inglebrae Farms Smokin S11; Was a ‘WOW’ bull as a yearling that I grabbed out of the sale group and let him back up the AI program on a handful of stud heifers. He then went on to sell in our 2023 sale as a rising two-year-old to the Wallangra Angus Stud at Wandoan as a walking sire. Visually thick-made and deep and a data set extremely balanced but not extreme in any way. Backing again by a perfect Matauri Reality dam (they have bred so well for us). All 3 sons follow their sire with balanced data right throughout and some great heifer joining options and all reared by two-year-old heifers. I wish I had more of these!
Inglebrae Farms Remedy R16; Remedy sold in our 2022 sale to a loyal, long standing commercial client for the second top price of the sale. We retained semen for our own use and will have sons this year and next. Once again, I wanted to fold his dam’s performance back through our herd and yet another perfect Matauri Reality daughter. R16’s docility is perfect, always fat, with a great visual carcass outlook and length of body. His 5 sons will present data that is well balanced for calving ease, low to moderate birth, good growth, scrotal, carcass, positive fats and extra marbling. Great heifer joining options.
Inglebrae Farms Rambo R7; Half-brother to Smokin S11 (above) and again semen retained and was the Lot 1 feature bull in our 2022 sale with sons this year and next. Thick made again with a perfect temperament and just carried the extra visual bone and volume. A very balanced data set across the page and marble that jumps out to a +4.8 to finish him off. 4 sons, all great heifer joining options with the backing of a lovely soft fleshing L58 daughter.
Inglebrae Farms Showman S52; A retained sire for heifer joining’s with top 1% calving easy, top 5% low birth, moderate growths with positive fats. My love for these Matauri Reality cows that are performing so well is definitely showing here again. With Showman being a lovely blend of Reality x Chisum, I can’t help but fold these cows’ genetics back through our system. Showman is moderate, thick made and long with 4 sons presented all great heifer joining options and all reared by two-year-old heifers.
